The bio of Anschutz says he and his family attend an Evangelical Presbyterian church. Hmmm.

I found the presumed omniscience angle sweetly funny. After all in that small clip there was beauty, naivete, irony, silliness, and some Great Ideas- pretty much sums up the human condition, as far as I am concerned. I do not remember being tortured by God People. I remember going to Church with lots of them. I think I was christened or Baptized or whatever in just about every church anyone ever took me too. I don't know WHAT my parents were thinking. They let me go anywhere. Maybe that's not a bad thing. I went to catechism class with my Catholic friend down the street. I have been to Mormon churches. I KNOW I've been in water at least 3 times at different Christian churches- I remember one quite clearly because they had a tank, and you wore a white gown, and I got all wet. I was about 7. Can't tell you the denominations of any of them. And I have testified (insincerely, but one wants to be part of the group) at the Christian horse camp my parents sent me to. Of course I was older then, and the peer pressure was intense. If I hadn't quickly converted I might have been tortured. But I'm a preservationist. Maybe THAT is my religion.
