Joe,

Thanks for the link. Could you elaborate on the requirements for naked puts and covered puts? One way to cover short puts is with short stock. I assume you are not talking about that in an IRA. The other way is to back them with cash equal to the strike price. If that is what you mean, then I conclude naked puts means something else. Surely you must keep some sort of cash behind a short put in an IRA, no? What is required?
