Ted RTe..He needs to act swiftly, or else the media is going to be blowing it up. <<<<<<<< Even worse, the summer months are dead news months, in that congress and the prez are out of town and there isn't a lot of news going on. However, it may be to late for Gephardt to act, as he will just be acting now because of opinion polls, not because it was the right thing to do. The interview hurt, rather than helped the dems chances; but unless some disturbing new news comes out, the worst about Gary is already old news, so the less news the better. The dems probably should just ride it out now, and try to convince Gary not to run again.
