Hi Kirk,

The birthday wish, like checks are always better late than never!!! <wink>

I like some of Mary Chapin-Carpenters stuff. I really like her party dolls CD. But ya know when I first seen that CD, I figured her to be a good bit older than she is. I tell you what if in general she makes you yawn, last night would have really put you to sleep!! The venue where she was is awesome in it's surroundings and atmosphere. But both times I have been to this place the audience have been total bores. Where the concert was is a very yuppy-arts, just past middle age type place. Same place we seen Trisha Yearwood at last month.

Funny story about the Trisha concert. We were in like the 3 or 4th row back. Trisha was doing a louder song. A lot of people stood up. Emily wanted to stand up, but would not unless I did also. So we stood up, and I hear from behind us. "Would you two sit down," in a very unfriendly tone. Now keep in mind we are at an outdoor concert and we are not the only one standing!!! I turned around and was going to say something to this woman. I have no clue what I was going to say, because the sight when I turned around took me so off guard. There is this 45ish year old looking woman. The type woman that in most setting would not look like the typical concert goer, but more like should be at the symphony. (Yes, I know I am stereo-typing, but you need the visual to fully appreciate what I seen when I turned around) There is this uppity looking and acting woman, trying to get comfortable sitting on her husbands lap. The husband is not looking too amused and the approximately 10 year old son is looking like he is going to crawl under the bench!!! I could not help it, when I seen her, I literally could not hold back, I just laughed, and shook my head. I heard her mumble something as I was turning back around and she was moving back to her seat on the bench!!! Emily and I stood up through the rest of the song, and later stood up during the one of the last songs. That was an awesome concert!!!
