Hi cordob; No DDR SDRAM for the 460GX. Here's my take on this:

The 460GX only supports SDRAM, no DDR SDRAM. The source synchronous signals (which are used in DDR SDRAM) that the document mentions are for the FSB.

The 460GX supports four SDRAM memory channels, so each memory channel only has to have 4GB of memory. If each channel is 4 slots long, that means each DIMM needs to be 1GB.

cordob,

The 460GX uses 66Mhz SDRAM.

And supports many memory channels (I forget how many, but it's a lot). Of course not all on one chip.
