VT, my only fear about my bearishness is not being aware enough to revert back to a bullish stance. I realize I continuously pepper this thread with lousy news, it's there, it's easy to find and believable by the performance of the markets.

The question I have is; when can I draw the line and say enough is enough?

I've seen questions posted on this thread asking about industrial metals and there possibility as an inflation hedge. I seriously doubt that something as common as tin or zinc could ever be considered, "precious" in a recession with the ever increasing chance of a currency crisis.

BUT!

The base metals can be great economic indicators. If one is suffering from denial and refuses to take a bearish stance, you can always look at a copper chart. Copper is used in every electrical item imaginable, houses, factories, computers, and yes, even cars -- if there's a demand for a product, copper will most certainly be involved.

By the look of that chart, I'm thinking it's not the time for a bullish stance.

JMHO

-- something to ponder from BigBull

I am now a flaming, screaming, eye bulging, flared nostril, frothing at the mouth Bulllllllllllllll!

Why? Todays housing and car sales numbers, along with three consecutive improvements in LEI's indicate to me that the US recession is OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stick a big fat fork in it, brother.

I like stocks, commodities, and real estate. The whole business.
