Yes Addi, I am exasperated, but not for the reasons you think. I am ticked off by the bullishness I see even as we keep going down. That can mean only one thing -- we will go down even further. If this bear-market has to end, the bullishness has to give way to despair. I am not seeing that and it is so damn exasperating.

Regarding making money investing in techs, you know very well that the largest portion of my portfolio was in LSI, plus a few tech mutual funds. And you know that I got out of all of them when things were still rosy (between Jan and August of last year). So, why should I be upset for missing out on the trend? Not at all. Certainly not when I see that those who were married to the trend, are getting their clocks cleaned now!

Coming to your projections of 50% to 125% annualized gains in your stocks (500% gains in 24-48 months), I certainly hope that you are the exception. I hope that the majority is fearing huge declines rather than salivating over the possibility of such huge gains. That sort of bullishness is scary -- it means we have several floors to go before we get to the basement.

Addi, regarding your picks -- "JDSU, CSCO, LSI, VTSS, MSFT, INTC, CIEN, GLW etc." ,

I have the following article excerpt for you, from syharding.com

"Investing over the next several years will take more knowledge
and thought than just jumping back into the same few stocks that
were the big winners at the tail-end of the last bull market.
Yet that seems to be the only thing that investors know to do,
as was demonstrated in Friday's market action."
