Perhaps with so much money sitting on the side lines we start this bubble all over again!
Is it possible for a company like csco to reorganize and folks start short covering right away?
Then others do not want to miss the run up and start buying again.
More money comes into the market and ipo's with a good plan start getting venture money and grow again.
Banks seeing the start ups moving up do not want to be left behind and join some ventures that do not have a fair plan.... oops just spacing out on Sunday morning..

RTEK appears also under Compaq's older acronym "ZLE" for zero-latency enterprise, although.perhaps because of date, their white paper makes no mention of XML role. see paper at URL:

I suppose Malone might have a point, since after this hangover, there will be so much excess capacity, equipment is reduced to a cheap commodity, and telecom companies will have to do something to stay out of bankruptcy.
