Let me put the question to you this way: When Reagan-Bush rang up the largest deficits in U.S. history between the years 1980 and 1992, who signed all those spending bills that Congress passed?

Was it Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr. ... or FDR and Bill Clinton?

Or to put it another way, what was that line that Peggy Noonan crafted for Bush Sr? Something about "Read my lips ..."? Refresh my memory.
