I DO hope he is polite about them. They have not been served frequently at our home. (slight understatement)
It makes me think of the scene in Chariots of Fire when Abrahams' date orders the specialté de la maison for him and finds out he is Jewish as they wait for their meal. The dish is placed before them with a flourish and Abrahams says, What is it, and she says in dismay, "Pigs' Trotters."
