Mark - futures on lower priority.

Best overall data feed was cme.com the Towsend Analytics free application which was housed at the Merc on her own site: NO delay.
I actually could see my order modify the volume and I knew I had a complete fill.

As I had a reference, I tested (most feeds have 15 days trials) and ALL had data bursting. These bursts have a stale duration of some seconds to several minutes.
I talked to tech supports of the feeds and I generally got the answer that they were working upon. One commercial told me litterally that the feeds indeed had a lower priority.
This is killing in fast markets, when you regularly see your tick bars fill to the right all of a sudden.

Rem: the CME data dissemination and/or Globex also have black-outs, happened twice recently for more than 45 minutes.
That is why I urge any futures trader to have a brokerage service with a real broker at the phone, able to place an order on the open outcry. (Most cheapo brokerages don't have.) I needed 100 seconds on average to have my fill confirmed on the phone. But first had to be aware of a communication problem.

One service I can't tell about is ProNet. Tested this one with satisfaction, but the server was a server for trial purposes, not a production one.

But you only have futures (delayed if you don't pay the exchange fees) and most indexes. No equities, no cubes for nstance.

I still have a backup at the CME e50 page : cme.com

Before I forget, many feeds and brokerages have a thread on SI. And the most praised can't deliver what I am looking for (and I have a 100 sec. trading horizon <ng> ).
