Perfect description of Bush. "He's motivated mainly by his desire for payback (father's defeat) and an impulse to help his own and his own only. His family, his retainers, his industry Big Oil and his benefactors who supported his rise from 40 year old do-nothing alcoholic to President. None of his policies reflect anything but these motivations. He is illiterate for sure, but very shrewd, and sometimes succeeds in turning this intellectual weaknesses into assets by play-acting the role of the populist average guy, when in fact he's anything but, and owes his entire career to family privilege, money and connections. It also hides his ruthless streak which as we have seen means he will do anything or say anything to win and deceive the public. His policies are in fact anti average America, from attacking consumer protections to draining and downsizing Social Security, Medicaid, public education and having no qualms e about encouraging pollutiion of the air and water most people without country estates must drink and breathe, all the the betterment of his corporate benefactors."
