Many of the regulations or mr. bill were most likely more waste for no gain. Possibly all. On the msft case however I believe that the Justice Department correctly went after a company that has stifled progress dramatically in the last 5 years and window-xp is another attempt fo msft to lock out other vendors and capture content delivery. Without the specter of the Justice Department msft would be a far bigger danger to stifling the progress of technology in information communications. The vast majority of the population of the US and even many who are considered part of the technology informed only have seen computer systems technology thru the eyes of a msft computer. Those who seen the alternatives see how bad msft is. Worms and viruses and secret communications handshakes. A breakup of msft would be a net plus in advancing technology.

My pc has 4 screens and each has 10 desktops and this page tells why even with one screen and many desks my 4 or 5 year old setup blows away anthing from msft.

Oh the up time up 80 days, 45 min, 30 users,
how many processes?

A little original thought from our resident Rhodes scholar?

I thought not.

Favoribg baby bells over local phone companies. A good example of the denial of fact that permeates the thinking of Bush Zealots. The baby bells are the local phone companies.
