Here's one to wake you up. Bush-Cheney's trying to ram polluting coal use down our throats is creating new mining activity in Colombia (they didn't say they'd use US coal) run by Exxon and Drummond mines, both huge B-C campaign contributors. US anti-drug money has been diverted to the Colombian military to defend Exxon and Drummond mines but the protection doesn't include the workers and union leaders. Recently, the same soldiers we pay for murdered Colombian union leaders in cold blood for no reason excdpt that they want to keep wages very low and conditions poor.
