This is awfully complicated. Canadian fishermen also intercept stocks headed for Washington and Oregon, and since those runs have been devastated by dams, the Canadians don't get as many fish as they used to. A new agreement was negotiated in 1999 to address this. As for reparations, it seems to me that the high prices we pay for your oil and gas should suffice. Despite all our economic hegemony, it seems that we have a huge trade deficit with Canada. What do you do with all the money, eh? <g>
