Bert, they certainly drive home the point of white-collar crime. It's incredible, it really is, there is no possible way capitalism can survive with the amount of scum that are in leadership positions today.

Will we as citizens ever get justice?

IMHO; the one legitimate role that government has is to ensure and create a climate of justice where businesses can flourish. What we are seeing here is opposite, this is nothing more than a catalyst for more proactive government involvement without ever solving the actual problem.

Sounds a lot like socialism, eh?

Frank P.

Hi Bert. Most of it looks like a recap

of what some of us have been saying here for quite awhile.

Don't think we'll have a gold standard again. BWDIK<g>

bert,
Interesting reading, but I never know what the credibility level is on some of the stuff from GATA, although I agree with a decent amount of what they say.

BTW, that East German spy stuff read just like the plot of a movie sometime back. Martin Sheen, no Jon Voight was in it, can't think of the name of the flick, oh yeah, The Odessa Files. Sheen was in Enigma

Best Regards,

Roebear
