Bush knows Mexico because he's done oil and polluting plant deals with them and because his big corporate interests need cheap labor down along the border. That's it.

?????Spanish language should be a required subject for American kids. Now we have children who can't read and write English and can't add and don't know where the Pacific ocean is. And you say they should also learn Spanish. English is the language of the world, the internet, aviation and commerce. America is the economic power house of the world. Those who learn to deal the most efficiently with the biggest players will win over those who cannot. Some may call this elitist but I anyone doing business just wants less pain and deals with those whom he can understand the bests. When ever competitive pressure rise one minimizes risk and dealing with those who you understand save time and time is money. That just the common sense way that the world works. Winning comes to the most skilled. Skill is the ability to get something done with the least amount of energy. tom watson tosiwmee
