Hi Cary, give me a little while. I read two articles, one from one of the founders of the Internet, which measured demand for bandwidth against current supply. Their findings were eye opening and show that at this rate of growth of demand, service providers will soon only have two choices: raise prices dramatically to suppress demand artificially or provide the supply by lighting up fiber and upgrading equipment. I'll see if I can find them and then I'll post it for your review. P.S. I remember from these articles that bandwidth consumption is still growing by 100% per year and they expect that to continue throughout the next decade as video over the internet becomes viable and as the metro and last mile get fat pipes.
