Pakistan's anti-India activities from Nepal, China's proximity and the ongoing China-Nepal Coochie-coochie relations, Indo-Nepal border disputes, Sino-Indian border disputes, China' reluctance to accept McMahon "Imperialist"line are causes for the Indians to worry about. Nepal is looking for "tourist dollars" and therefore is willing to accept Chinese currency. First come the Chinese tourists and the currency, then comes the Chinese influence , later comes the Chinese military, then comes mass migration of the Chinese people and before you know it , the country is swallowed up by China. China has very little arable land at present. They should start looking for land. This land acquisition as it happened in Tibet is a long-term Chinese policy of acquisition and expansion. Hello New Delhi!: Start learning "Chinese". Nepal's two-pennant flag with upper crescent cradling the full moon and the lower stylized sun is said to represent the two dynasties and the immortality of the nation. I am not sure about the immortality of Nepal as a nation. It is a political and geographic impossibility. First the Chinese take over and next comes the inexorable thrusting of Indian land mass under Nepal at the rate of 6 and ½ feet every 100 years. Nepal will disappear in this geographic onslaught. Why worry about it now? We won't live to see it. Before that event, the Chinese will swallow it and burp which will be heard in New Delhi and around the world. And the Chinese also will eventually lose it. The present Chinese threat is very worrisome
