AMZN asleep in the deep?

What I found odd about AMZNs newly announced corporate buying program was that for a 6-7 year old business it had not set this up years and years ago. Too little, too late. Very sloppy management.

There is more to it than that. One of the main focuses early was the negative cash cycle for Amazon. This was how they were going to be extremely efficient or at least one of the ways. This new program adds accounts receivable to Amazon and the associated risk of not being paid. That not not include the positive cash cycle where Amazon is financing their customers. It seems to me Amazon is trying now to sho increased revenue via them being the vendor in financing.

I believe James Morris is going to lose our bet even through AOL gave Amazon a $100 million cash injection. The bet is off but the predicted ending continues to come more near. The $100 million really is not that much cash based on the speed at which Amazon is able to burn cash.

I still wish my time had been as my FA analysis years ago.

Glenn
