Why Ali, you needn't apologize (and despite what you seem to assume, the "sic" was not a subtle dig).

Actually, I too am saddened. It is apparent from your post that you don't feel that Athlon has "firmly established itself in the x86 marketplace". I believe Athlon is here to stay (albeit at the low end) - at least for a couple more months. ;^)
