Opponents say the legislation, coming amid a sagging economy, would remove a crucial safety net for people who have lost their jobs or face huge medical bills and for single mothers seeking child support from bankrupt fathers. They insist that credit card companies, mailing out millions of offers of new credit, have recklessly loosened their credit-granting standards and are at least partly responsible for the surge in consumer debt This is my thoughts exactly. Bastards GIVE credit to anyone then want to change the Law when its abused making honest, hardworking Americans suffer. I have NO SYMPATHY for these creditors and am opposed to any change in the Bankruptcy law. No, I have NEVER gone bankrupt. Just how I feel. JDN
