I'm pretty sure that not everyone went down the tubes over the last few years.> Yea, all the smart people that bailed out didn't go down the tubes [many hands on CFZ go up]... doesn't mean they're going to rush back into the market. I'm looking at it that I was the beneficiary of a once in god knows how long mania, that luckily for me means financial independance no matter where I put my money. Think I'm going to buy the S&P at these values??? NOT! If equities never get cheaper I don't give a crap, and I bet there are lots of others around thinking exactly the same way.... yea, should I invest this money or upgrade my lifestyle and my kids lifestyle for as long as we're all likely to live??? Hmmm, no brainer. DAK
