Ali, there is ample bandwidth in the Tyan Thunder K7 (available now) and nForce (reportedly in volume in Sep) to keep Athlon ahead for the near-term.

There's plenty of incentive in the $500 P4 premium, to go for either of these superior solutions, especially the latter when available.
