2:14PM Micron Tech (MU) 40.44 +1.90: Lots of talk about MU ahead of the company's presentation at a SoundView semiconductor bus tour/conference tomorrow at 11 ET; talk today is that MU has seen a pick-up in orders from OEMs, but that it is not yet clear whether this is due to spot market maneuvering or due to real demand.

1:09PM NVIDIA Corp (NVDA) 86.02 +0.73 (+0.86%) : -- Technical -- Momentum favorite in either direction is heading higher today. Faces modest resistance in the area of 87.80 followed up by another area of modest overhead in the range of 88.50-88.80. More significant resistance lies at 89.90 which represents an area of prior congestion in addition to the upper end of its 10-day Bollinger bands. We would become more cautious if it were to break below intraday support around 85.75.

12:57PM DSL Plays : Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) stocks come to life in reaction to bullish comments issued this morning by DSL chipset maker Centillium (CTLM +21.8%). Positive sentiment tricking down to competitors VRTA (+8.7%) and CNXT (+2.5%), as well as DSL equipment maker Copper Mountain (CMTN +4.1%) and ADSL technology company Aware Inc (AWRE +9%).
