Ray - pipelines? Waste of capex. ROFL
There were two major (military?) pipelines some years ago: Russia/Antwerp owned by the state owned Nafta, and Antwerp/Russia from the NATO. Don't know if they were layed side-by-side or even if they were two: even sovjets had heard of compensations.<gggg>

I, once, have been tempted to invest in some Russian energy services. Then I remembered that we still can buy Russian bonds by the pound on every flea market in the country here.
Russia builds up a debt, then decides not to repay.
I prefer the American way: build up a foreign debt with strong Dollars, pay back with deflated ones. LOL. At least you get something back.
