Sure, it is not loving another but loving a child as your own that I doubt.

There was a scene from the movie "Gandhi" that sticks out in my mind. I believe it was towards the end. A man had killed someone and came to Gandhi for advice because he was haunted by what he did. Gandhi told the man to raise an orphan of the murdered man or orphan off the street as if it were his own. I have no idea who Gandhi was and I probably would not agree with his philosophy but I think that was good advice.

I agree with you that a lot of people talk about love but when push comes to shove are gone with the wind. The worse thing you can do is to allow someone to change you and affect the love that you have in your heart and soul for others.
