That's absolutely true.
If you aren't well matched 80 years could be an eternity.
Or if one partner changes.
Leisure and time have given us more opportunities it explore alternatives. Although you would think agnostics and atheists, who are pretty free thinking, would change more. But then they tolerate more configurations probably, so maybe they are more tolerant of changes?
