Those jobs are now well under $100k. Some companies are laying off employees and at the same time hiring new employees with less salary. Some hardware engineer's position are now at $50k below the normal offer. This will affect upcoming consumer spending. We are still at the early stage of a deep recession.

I was trying to hire simple techs to train and fix test equipment, really not brain surgery. I had networking guys right out of community colleges (not degreed) looking for 70K+... I told them not to expect to earn that over the long haul as the market would be saturated and networking was getting easier. I hope some at least listened but I'm sure some didn't...

Housing market in the New England area still going pretty good. But recently I have talked with a few lot clearers and they are getting free'd up where it was a 4-6 week wait back in July. A cam operator that works for me will have her house done 2-3 weeks early...
