Corporate welfare helps to depreciate the cause of free enterprise as much as Social Security corrupts the aged. The original idea came from the century-old farm welfare programs that-like old whores-lasted long enough to become respectable. If we ever defeat the left and get the stolen money out of the hands of government, it will be essential to have iron-clad constitutional guarantees that the government can never get its hands on the money again...
