You will find about 100 irrational claims that Republicans are raiding the SS lock box, and about an equal number of posts patiently explaining the folly of that claim. 'Scuse me now, I have about 200 posts to scan.

As to fox, I have been doing sampling of fox, cnn, msnbc and all are mr. gary all the time. fox was just part of the crowd. but mr. gary is the voice. This fever pitch will lead to more and more comparisons between mr. bill and mr. gary. That's just the way it is. The more comparisons the more defensive of mr. bill and thus the more comparisons. And Republicans don't have to say a thing. Those in the media who just like to disparage all politician play their games. On the energy policy, who was paid and who came and spoke in private makes no difference. The energy report was published and it was a documentation of a first projection of estimate of growth and current areas where there are problems. Nuclear is still clean and coal creates CO2 by the ton. If you don't understand the complex interplay of science, technology and economics then all you have is a guess at what's what. Simply stated very few folks have my background. I read it and I don't see any conspiracy. I saw reasonable engineering estimates. Common sense. I have no idea why you think the Energy policy is unbalanced. I see it as a planning tool. Buy the way, I downloaded and looked the report. Have you downloaded it? I do hate pdf and wish everything was just web pages. Makes searching for text and cutting and pasting a lot simpler. I have not seen Karl Rove on TV recently. I see the rev Al and even jesse a lot more. Karl Rove does not in any way shape or form speak of trailer trash. There is no Carvel. President Bush has a civil administration in the face of being attacked by most leading democrats and hate pieces by many media types. tom watson tosiwmee
