I'm glad you called it supply side theory. Not many facts to validate it. Most people that run businesses react to demand not supply.

I am convinced there is a third group, mostly democrats, but republicans too, that understand what we need to do to achieve maximum growth, but oppose it because it's not good for Our Mother.

They aren't all stupid. Some are just traitors willing to trash the lives of millions in the name of some insane higher good.
