Hi Jack, I am unaware of the NAFTA induced madness you describe with US timber being shipped to Canada for processing into dimensional lumber. If this is the case, then we've been sold out by those who own the timber and don't want to support their local communities, but would rather be proud participants in the "globalization" process. Basically, what this means is that the owners of resources want to maximize return and don't give a hoot about the fate of their neighbors. Now, as far as your wife harassing you, you have my sympathy. Have you considered the joys of an unfettered existence as a bachelor? It certainly has eliminated a tremendous amount of unnecessary guilt and anxiety in my life. If winter is coming, why don't you follow the reasonable example of countless millions of birds? Instead of building a silly, overpriced nest in the worst degree day zone you could find, just head down to the Gulf of Mexico. Zero heating bills. Appealing, eh? R.
