Clinton was a better manager of the economy and more fiscally responsible. Bush has squandered the surplus on a tax cut for the rich. Remember the lock box? Pretty funny.

The Federal budget is 1.86 trillion and the CBO and the President's men are disagreeing on 10 billion. this is 1/2 of 1%. All well within predictive error.

I don't think calling this the Clinton/Gore recession is a good idea. This is the greenspan/y2k recession.
