OT: Taking time out for a moment of weakness… Wouldn’t it be nice not to have to think? Perhaps I should look through my old issues of “Stocks and Commodities”, and look up a nice mechanical system, back test it properly, and… retire. Would really hate to discover such a thing many years from now on my own bookshelf… ;-)

I still expect non-tech to make a new high this week. I'm not married to the idea but I don't see impulsive down coming out of that DOW pattern. However, that index has knocked on 10440 three times and now looks to be failing. Who cares though, we did all of 847 million shares on the NTSE today. Can you imagine what Friday will be? take a look at the big gainers of late. Most of the names are strange to me The strangest for me is POS! I can't believe that turd keeps coming back from the dead!
