Yes Dale, I've been on SI for over 4 years.

I've pretty much seen it all and done it all. One of the few fringe benefits of playing the OTCBB was that I had no trouble recognizing that in terms of corruption and manipulation, the rest of the NASDAQ is no different.

When I think of how PALM was hyped to $120/share, most recently EXDS was pumped .... and so on.

My brother finally became a true believer last Oct when ORCL stock started taking hits ...

The first rumor was that Ellison was dead. When that was denied ...

The next rumor was that he had resigned. When that was denied ...

The rumor was they were gonna miss their earnings expectations. When that was denied ...

The rumor was that they had a problem with "the quality of their earnings".

All of which proved to be false, but I'll bet it convinced a lot of people to bail out or keep others from buying.

I'll always wonder who was behind those stories. They made a killing. Compared to them Tokyo Joe was a saint.

Chris

The good ole days fer sure. Remember when stocks like EPAY run 80 points in no time or KOOP (rymes with poop) doubled overnite on spending a ridiculous amount of money to be on AOL. The good days when we rode Anthony's back...

I can't even remember the names of half the stocks I traded but thanks to lawyers I get 2-3 lawsuits a day on all those piece of shit stocks.
