I think it's time for the Republicans to start talking about Condit. I understand why they've been silent and approve, but this is starting to have an impact on the reputation of Congress now. Despite all we know about him, despite a few tongue clucks from democrats, he's still there, still voting, still listening to the nation's top secrets. Summer's over, time to get back to work. It's time for him to go, Americans agree, there's no reason for Republicans to keep their mouths shut any more. And if that makes democrats think they have to defend the indefensible (again) so much the better.
