The UK-based Indian doctor, in Euronews yesterday, was saying that foreign docs and nurses were not very likely to come and alleviate the health situation in the UK. They don't like the way foreign medical professionals are treated in the UK.

Portugal: deficit of 10.000 nurses. France deficit of 12.000 nurses. Spain -the odd man out- superavit of 12.000 nurses.

They've got to use the model of the Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Baharain, Dubai, Oman etc. Import all the medical professionals from abroad.

Canada? It is northern Australia. Same Cold War outpost. Same little population, same old immigrants missing the Queen of England.

Same economy based in very efficient exports of raw materials.

The only difference is that Canadian accent is easier to understand.
