It looks like AOL 6.0 is not compatible with Cox@home:
cox.com
cox.com

You might want to try uninstalling 6.0 and trying to install an earlier version.

I think I have located the problem. It seems that AOL is working fine, the trouble is with Cox Internet. After running "tracert" and "ping" it seems that the Cox routing is taking too long and is timing out too often. AOL doesn't allow for this and disconnects. Cox indicates that they are working on this and lets hope they fix it soon.
