Hi Jon, Yes your post, which I believe was one of SI's cool posts of the day, last week, does a very nice job to show that the PE ratio's of many stocks, including the big DJIA stocks are higher than their growth rates the past few years. GE and KO particularly come to mind as companies with Price Earnings Ratio's that are several times the underlying growth rate of corporate earnings. There are some exceptionally thoughtful people who have been on SI over time, some are now gone off to other ventures, but it continues to be an interesting forum for ideas. John
