This is anecdotal but for what it is worth I needed toner yesterday and popped into Sam's Club. No one was lookiing at PC's at all. Sam didn't have the cartridge I needed so went to Office Max in same shopping center. Most of customers in store were moms with kids buying school supplies. Granted these were elementary and Jr. High students, not the high school and college crowd which you would expect to be in the market for a PC.
