I was sorry they left out that great line about Jenny being an enthusiastic housekeeper, and "hoping for no better profession".

I read some of the Adams' letters years ago, when I did 1776- they had a wonderful relationship for that time. Even a steamy one. There were probably many marriages that managed a sort of intellectual equality at least at home, but they had to overcome the biases of the day.

I just looked up Abigail- great quote:
