Interesting about the Taj Mahal. There is writing on the side of the building that goes up perhaps 200 feet. Yet, the writing furthest away appears equal in size to the writing at eye level.

Karen,

More Modern Wonders...

The Grand Canyon was nature created, although, I've heard rumors that construction was initiated in 82 million BC, by a roving band of juvenile Stegosauri.

Eiffel Tower
The Chunnel
Roman Colosseum
Hoover Dam
Panama Canal
Petronas Towers (as seen in the recent flick starring Sean Connery and Kirk Douglas' Daughter-in-law)
Mount Rushmore Memorial
Angkor Wat
Machu Picchu
