notice how it was flat for a whole year from the summer of 1931 to the summer of 1932. it was at around the lowest level in a year when it finally took off and never looked back in 1932.

fast forward to today when gold stocks like homestake have doubled off their lows. so they had their rally like the one following the crash of '29. maybe it's time for the sell-off to levels like the sell-off in 1932 before taking off for good.
