I've been having a terrible time with SI all day... it won't tell me when anything new has been posted.

These discussions sort of meander along for a couple of days. Someone thinks of something, or reads something and then posts it... and then we wander away again. that's why I like it. SO you haven't missed a thing. We are just starting.

I find the baby symbolic of creativity, don't you?
After all birth, and nurturing babies, and writing, very much the same to the creative mind. And our heroine is being denied both.
