I am back in and will accumulate on any weakness-
When the competition starts dumping multi-billion dollar investments (I don't care if it was paid for with inflated paper) that compete with CIEN then this tells me a bunch more than all the doomsayer analysts.

Sounds "bullish" for CIEN in my opinion. I am thinking about restoring by position soon. Anyone care to compare LU's products with CIEN (-Chromatis)?

I've taken a position in CIEN and just this morning compared their cash position with others in the sector and they come out extremely strong.

I spent some time comparing insider buys/sells with other companies and notice CIEN is one of the few with buys over the last 3 and 6 month periods.

I also looked at Pat Nettles's sales and they're as regular as breathing. He basically sells 2600 shares every day during those times he's not restricted. [As of 6/29/01, he had over 5M shares, not including options.]
