DOs have definitely got a PR problem. Nothing a TV series couldn't solve.

<<The main thing is that mainstream medical practice is based on solid advances in physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and so on.....>>

But it's lost a lot of the personal touch recently. One test and bang. Sue's doctor retired and she was looking for another. She got an appointment for a starting physical with a new doctor who had her office in a hospital. Turned out it was on the same day they did physicals for all the ADC kids. Two hour wait in a room full of screaming kids.

Her blood pressure was 151/92 and the doctor wanted her to take medication for it. Couldn't be talked out of it. Now the problem was, Sue has low blood pressure normally. They check her monthly at work because it runs 90/65. One test and bang.
