However, Africa is in the midst of a serious drought. Forget land. Forget animals. Forget sun. The main issue in the US taking over other continents is water. Is there enough clean, potable water for our lifestyle? Is there enough water to grow our grass, wash our clothes every day, shower every day, run our ice makers and dish washers and hot tubs and all the rest? If not, Americans won't be moving there not matter what.
