bert, HUI closed at 66.66, above resistance of at 66.41 . Tomorrow needs to get movin' and the 60 min H&S is negated. OEX NDX BKX and DOW have almost opposite patterns, likely evening stars, the uptrend could have lasted longer for a better pattern, but things don't last long in this market. Best Roebear

I have to agree that this was an impressive finish in the gold stocks. It could be that we will just consolidate here... HUI 65 to 70... XAU 56.2 to 58.5, but maybe not. In the meantime, good buys might be found on individual gold stocks. Since I'm waiting to re-enter RYPMX, I'll keep on waiting for a clearer picture. vt

Hi Bert. Would love to get some GG under 10. Sometimes MMs or specialist in a thin stock will take it down against the sector trend to fill his own plate before the rally takes hold. Could be seeing that with GG. NEM is harder to explain. As the big cap most institutions would buy first, it's sloppy performance recently is just one of MANY hints that a big broad market drop may be right on top us here. Lot's of sell programs that always take down the big caps of every stripe. Another reason I'm cautious in here. Much is I like the golds, am also holding onto lots of cash. Just a thought. Isopatch
