RE:"An effective campaign from scratch will be 1) difficult since it will look like they're squirming - and 2) more expensive to create any kind reach and frequency. But it is their only chance."

Now all Jerry can say is..."wha's goin' on..everyone knows the Athlon 1.4 is the equal of da' 2.0 P4...Everyone knows 'dat de' Athlon is da' more powerful chip".."So Hector, why you tell me we have to give da' Athlons away cheap?, say it isn't so Hector!, please, say it isn't so!..."

Jerry thinks to self: "Humm I gotta getta rid of dat' guy..., good way to make him a scape goat."

Jerry, memo to self (tape-recorder)...looking at nude self portrait: "remind me to sell a hundred thousand more shares"

I want to submit that I disagree. Most of the television advertisements that I have seen have been good or excellent. The only bad one (which was REEEALLY bad!) was the most recent one. In my book, that's a 75% success ratio.

The print ads have been okay. Other than that, AMD has been pretty nonexistent with respect to advertisement.
